As operations coordinator, Naqiya helps manage day-to-day coordination for CFI and assists with the Financial Inclusion Week and Responsible Finance Forum convenings. Naqiya is based out of Washington, DC.

Naqiya is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in English and media studies. She was a part of Delta Kappa Delta Sorority – a service sorority where she was able to give back to the community. Outside of school, Naqiya is passionate about theatre, alongside movies and reading. She has seen a few productions on Broadway, and her favorites include Come From Away, King Kong, and Something Rotten. Naqiya loves to write stories, poems, or whatever comes to her mind. Because of this, she has got back into reading again and building her own personal library.
