Aeriel Emig
Aeriel brings more than 10 years of financial inclusion experience to CFI, with expertise in strategy and stakeholder communications. She oversees CFI’s communications strategy and knowledge products to ensure that CFI’s research reaches key audiences and spurs action.
Prior to joining CFI in 2021, Aeriel worked as Chief of Staff for the FINCA Impact Finance network of microfinance institutions and community-based banks. At FINCA Impact, Aeriel was responsible for investor and board communications, policy, strategic planning, project management, and other key initiatives across the global network. Aeriel spent two years in Latin America working for various nonprofits and teaching English as a second language.
Aeriel holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Cornell University and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
